Born into a typical Montessori family, Jana has followed in her family’s tradition. She earned her teaching credential in 1992 and has become a widely respected Montessori advocate. She is the moderator of the Montessori Conference on Early Childhood Education and has published numerous professional articles in Montessori Life. Jana is currently the principal of a bilingual Montessori school in Louisville, Kentucky. She is active in supporting parents and teachers through her online groups and has co-authored a book to assist parents in dealing with the current disruption to in-school learning in the US.
